Reports out of Boston are saying GM Eric will not be returning after his fourth season as the General Manager of the Bruins. They are saying that this was a mutual agreement and a replacement has been found. The reports are saying that the GM of the Islanders is moving on as well and he will in fact be the new GM of Boston. In four years as GM of the Islanders, he turned the Isles into one of the East's best, acquiring Getzlaf, Edler, as well as improving goaltending with the acquisition of Nick Backstrom. Boston GM, In his tenure, acquired Defenseman like Chris Pronger Andrej Meszaros, and Kevin Shattenkirk while holding on to Zdeno Chara. GM Eric will head out to Los Angeles, where he will take the reign of the 2012 Stanley Cup Champions.

"I'm very excited to take over in LA. I left Boston because i was not very happy with the incoming roster with higher management [Real Life Bruins] Theyre a good team with a stellar offense. Im ready to bring back a cup to Southern California"

Side Note: Boston is struggling to make the playoffs. Currently 7th, they fight with Toronto for the final Northeast division title in NHL before moving to the Atlantic Next Year
