I think its time we start looking toward NHL 14. We have a solid group of about 8-10 guys and we could make this league great if we can fill out the league for NHL 14. So does anyone have any idea for recruiting. I'd say just go back to the HF Boards and recruit there

It will be super easy to recruit for NHL 14. Look how fast we filled the league when NHL 13 came out. I think we need to start fresh and let the 8-10 guys we have choose the teams they want.

Agreed. I wouldn't mind Boston though. But If I had a choice I would want Philly but I feel that would be a popular choice since the core guys came from a flyers page

Ya I too would want Philly haha. But I would try a different team if given the chance again lol. Man I hate Pittsburgh. Maybe we could have a lottery to see has first chance at teams they want.
We should arrange for it soon to start recruiting for the new league.

I think I mentioned this before...perhaps do something where the people that have been around the longest pick first. Decide who picks based on duration within the league and faithfulness (general all-around activity). I'd take any team.

It's sort of hard to remember tho. I only think PIT and NYI r the ones ahead of me. Maybe PHX too. Not sure I mean we started talking about this league in August

How about using this season's final regular season record as a method to determine draft order for the new teams? 

I like giving the original league members first priority tho too.

Maybe new team draft order would be something like:  original members> season record > other members > season record.

How's that sound?

Ok, then you just have to differentiate who goes where as far as original and other members go. I know I'm under other, I'll take any team.

I think the whole original members should get first pick of teams. I'm completely on board with that. I think it's myself, Florida, Islanders, Bodton, New Jersey in no particular order.

hi guys....sorry i havent been active lately.

just been to madrid on holiday and getting a promotion at work has really limited my time on the ps3

i will try to keep active tho and its good we talk about the new nhl 14 and how we will make a good league again.
