Early Advancement
All GMs:
A few of you have requested we advance early because of the short period this round. I personally did not have any games this period.
I'd like to advance tonight but I'm not sure if everyone is ok with that so please get me some feedback.

Re: Early Advancement
Sounds good here. Only had one game vs a CPU and it is done. I got nothing more until the next SIM.

Just to play Devil's advocate...
What if there's a GM who truly does want to sign a qualified free agent but because it's during the week, hasn't had a chance to get on because he expects to have 2 more days?
Or what if someone just hasn't been able to schedule a game? Like that one game out of 7 or 8 in a normal period you sometimes get against someone where you just couldn't link up until the last day?
Personally, I only had one game this period too, so I could advance now and be completely happy, I'm just thinking about the guys who are still expecting the schedule to stay the same......
Keeping to the schedule unless the vote to advance is unainimous is fair to everyone...it's just 2 days...just play some Call of Duty or GranTurismo or join me for some EASHL or something haha

All good points CHI. In cases like these, I'd almost have to have everyone's buy in or no deal. I don't want anyone getting screwed because of last minute changes to the schedule.
At this point, I need to hear from NJ, PHO & MIN (i think that's it) to advance early. Hopefully they will get us some feedback today and we'll see how it goes.
