I say no. Matthias is much younger, cheaper, and only 2 rating points less. Sorry

Just be aware, CPU trades will be much more difficult to get approved. Unless they are VERY even in terms of age, salary, potential and overall rating, they are most likely not going to be approved.
We really have to consider the future of the CPU team and how difficult it will be to find a GM to take control of a team that has been decimated.

Re: Pens - Avs
Yeah I know but there are no clear cut rules on CPU trading. I know it's 1 for 1 but I can't really make a fair trade when it's 1 for 1. I'd easily give up 2 draft picks to dump the cap.

Re: Pens - Avs
you can drop him to your minor's but i had to eat comeau last year i never had him play and he was 2.500 cap hit and no one wanted him so i put him down to the AHL so it wasn't against my cap. Trading with the computer has to be like if your trading with someone else you should want to accept it as well from either side

Yeah man... It happens to everybody... Last year it was Rostislav Olesz for me, this time Tom "Am I Still Here?" Sestito...or David Booth, who's actually a good player and I like him, but he's not worth 4.5mil...
Just wait out their contract and use em if someone gets injured, bury em in the minors, or buy em out in the off season...

Re: Pens - Avs
You don't understand I can't bury him in the minors because I believe waivers are on. If they're not than correct me, but I don't want to bury Dupuis and him getting taken for nothing when I can get something for him. I also need .371 million for the Leafs trade.

Re: Pens - Avs
well the leafs trade would go through and get rejected first anyways and i had to let comeau go for nothing he was an 81 solid player 28 years old

Re: Pens - Avs
Yeah, I think waivers are on too... Andrew Alberts cleared waivers for me last year cuz, I figured, if I really don't like or want him that much, then probably nobody else does either...
And even if someone claims him, then you have a bunch of cap space and can make a better trade for someone more expensive and more valuable, or you'll have more room to sign someone way more fun than Dupuis in the coming off-season...

I don't think waivers are on? Idk but the leafs trade will go through first, so I would recommend dropping someone to the minors for now, even if it's a young guy who isn't waiver eligible that you like. Because it will give you time to trade someone else away without the first trade being rejected.

Re: Pens - Avs
its because you went over cap they dump a player from the season it is a glitch you get him back at the end of the year in free agency just remember and warn everybody not to take him. happened to philly last season

Re: Pens - Avs
I didn't though. Dupuis was in the minors meaning I had the cap. EA's stupid auto GM screwed it up by bringing everybody I put down back up.
