Good Start Has Reigning Eastern Conference Champs Optimistic
10 games in the Philadelphia Flyers post a 8-1-1 record. Their offense is clicking and their defense is amongst the best in the league. Not to mention goalie Jonathan Berniers play so far has been phenomenal. Veterans like Scott Hartnell, Braydon Coburn, Nik Grossmann, and Max Talbot have been solid thus far for the Flyers and young players are stepping up big.
" it's still early in the season and we feel like we have a lot of work to do. You can lose 5 games just as fast as you won 5 games. We're happy with where we are but aren't getting over confident, just confident "- D man Braydon Coburn
With the way the Flyers are playing they will yet again be a force this season, and don't look for them to take their foot off the pedal anytime soon.
* injured forward Ville Leino skated with the team for the first time in nearly 2 week. When reached for an update GM Sheldon Ireland simply stated Leino was " 5-10 games atleast" away from his return. His return will be a welcoming sight for Tylerr Bozak and Tj Galiardi on the 3rd line as they 2 forwards have a combined 2 points in 10 games so far this season.
