General Announcements....

All GMs:

1. I just wanted to let everyone know that all trades submitted on the console were approved last night.  If your trade did not go through, then it was a glitch in the system or maybe a cap compliance issue.  I believe if it's cap related you would get an email from the system explaining that the trade did not go through because of the cap.  If you submitted and the other party approved on the console and the trade did not go through, it was probably a system glitch and you can try again.

2. I had one GM play my CPU before advancement day and now I see 2 GMs on my schedule without their CPU set up to be played.  These are both rule violations!  In addition to these to things, I've had several GMs asking me questions that are clearly addressed in the "Rules of the DDHFL."  The point is that no matter how much I plaster "PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU PLAY ANY GAMES" all over the forum, there are still GMs that are not doing it.  Any GMs that do not comply with the rules are subject to dismissal from the league.  Please pass this along to your fellow GMs if you see they are not complying.  I do not want to dismiss GMs but come on...it's not that difficult to take 5 minutes to read the rules!  

3. I have adjusted some settings and you should notice a difference in injuries and hitting now.  It's somewhat of a trial and error situation with getting these setting just right so let me know what you think.  I think I turned the hitting down a little too much but injuries seemed much better in the test league I tried them on before implementing them for us.

4. As explained in the "League Settings" thread, waivers are on!  I believe we may need to revisit if we keep them on because of what appears to be poor programming on EA's part, imagine that!  Funny things are happening and I'm not convinced it's about mismanagement.  Stay tuned on this one.

So we can claim players off the waiver wire?

Can't everyone not touch my guys please that are on waivers. This game is messed up. Why would someone ever put Colin Greening on waivers. We need to either turn waivers off or agree not to touch certain players. This is only gonna be a problem all season.

Agree, we should probably turn it off...but we need to come up with a way to eliminate exploiting it.

Let's get some GM feedback on this and I'll post something on the game screen about not claiming waived players.

Why can't we just make a post and tell people the players we have sent down that they can claim.. Players that aren't named are untouchable

Also, what about free agents? Can we sign free agents now too??

A post for eligible waivers sounds good but I doubt guys will actually post them. It would be great if all the GMs would participate but I don't see that happening.

Turning it off will solve everyones problems, but will take some of the realisticness away from the game however, keeping it on might cause constant problems and with some of the gm's on here, not all the gm's listen.. Some haven't even read the rules and it has been posted to read the rules before playing everywhere. So, I think the best bet is for it to be turned off. That's my opinion though.

After the advancement the game changed all my lines and dropped 2 guys to the minors for no reason. I played all my games before advancement. Not sure how we can fix this problem but it will be annoying to have to redo my lines every Wednesday and saturday

I like Torontos idea. Post the players you didn't actually send through waivers or vice versa. There are some guys I wouldn't mind getting picked up.

Right finally joined the league as my game came very very late.

Disapointing as i notice i have lots of injuries to my team. Someone is out for 25 freaking games.

Also i did not send anyone to waivers so please dont claim anyone.
